Josh Hart is an independent church historian and researcher specializing in First-Millennium Christianity. For roughly 15 years, he has documented and contextualized Christian history, sprituality, sacred art, and the liturgy. His work spans both Eastern and Western traditions, covering the Desert Fathers, early Western kings, Celtic monasticism, the Church of the East, and the development of the Divine Office. Mr. Hart holds Master's Degrees in Public History and Secondary Education. He studied for the diocesan Roman Catholic priesthood at Saint Meinrad School of Theology.
